Elena Nazdryukhina: Confidence, Character and the Power of Reinvention

With an international modelling career, a passion for Latin dance and ambitious plans in beauty, Elena Nazdryukhina is proving that the most compelling personal brands are built on individuality, discipline and the courage to do things differently.

Some people are content to follow a path that has already been laid out for them. Others prefer to create their own rules. Elena Nazdryukhina belongs to the latter category. Comfortable moving between fashion, performance and content creation, she has developed a career that reflects her interests, her personality and her desire to keep exploring new possibilities.

For Elena, success is not about fitting neatly into one category. It is about having the confidence to evolve without losing sight of what matters. One project might place her in front of the camera, another might take her onto a dance floor, while her latest ambitions are leading her towards the business of beauty. Each direction offers a different challenge, and that is precisely what keeps her interested.

Her story began in 2013, when an opportunity from a modelling agency introduced her to a casting directed by Stéphane Greffier. The experience led to her first studio photoshoot, built around a vibrant Brazilian-inspired look. What started as an unexpected opportunity soon became an introduction to an industry that combined creativity, presentation and collaboration in ways she had not previously experienced.

The camera revealed a new form of expression. A pose could communicate confidence, a look could establish a mood, and the smallest visual detail could change the entire character of an image. Elena became interested not only in being photographed but also in understanding the creative process behind the photograph.

That curiosity would become the foundation of a career that continues to expand.

Playing by Her Own Rules

In fashion, there is often pressure to develop a recognisable image and stick to it. Consistency can be valuable, but Elena believes that personal identity should leave room for change.

Her relationship with style is built around experimentation. She enjoys exploring different aesthetics, playing with colours, discovering new combinations and changing her appearance according to her mood and creative instincts. She does not feel that she has to maintain one particular look to remain recognisable.

For her, fashion is more interesting when it becomes personal.

Growing up surrounded by fashion magazines helped develop her appreciation for visual storytelling. She was fascinated by how clothing, photography and atmosphere could combine to create something that felt larger than the individual pieces themselves. That early interest continues to influence her approach today.

She sees style as a way of communicating without explanation. Sometimes the message is confident and direct. At other times, it is subtle, playful or unexpected. The freedom to move between these expressions is part of what makes fashion exciting to her.

There is also a practical lesson in this approach. Trends will always come and go, but understanding what makes you feel comfortable and confident gives personal style a stronger foundation. Elena prefers to take inspiration from the world around her rather than allow it to dictate her choices.

It is an attitude that reflects a broader philosophy: originality begins when you stop worrying about fitting someone else’s expectations.

More Than a Camera-Ready Image

Modelling can create the impression that success comes naturally to those who look comfortable in front of a lens. The reality is more complex. A professional career requires adaptability, preparation and the ability to work with different creative teams and expectations.

Elena’s international experiences have helped her develop that flexibility. Contracts in Malaysia, Italy and the Netherlands have exposed her to different working environments and cultural perspectives, broadening her understanding of the industry.

Working across countries also requires an ability to adjust. Every environment brings its own atmosphere, expectations and creative influences. Learning to navigate these differences has helped Elena become more open to new ideas while remaining confident in her own identity.

Her achievements in dance reveal another side of that determination.

Reaching the top 20 Latin dancers in France remains one of her proudest milestones. It represents a commitment to practice, technique and performance, qualities that require patience well beyond the excitement of appearing on stage. Her participation in Miss Original 2024 as a dancer offered another opportunity to bring together movement, expression and stage presence.

Dance has given Elena a different relationship with performance. Where modelling often depends on a single moment captured perfectly, dance is about sustaining energy, rhythm and expression over time. Both require awareness of the body, but each demands a different kind of control.

Together, they have helped her develop a broader creative vocabulary.

The Importance of Knowing When to Say No

A growing professional profile can bring plenty of opportunities, but Elena does not believe that every opportunity deserves a yes.

She chooses projects according to her interests and whether they align with her personal vision. The decision is not simply about visibility or the possibility of adding another accomplishment to her portfolio. She wants her work to feel connected to who she is.

That selectiveness is an important part of building a lasting identity. In a crowded industry, it can be tempting to accept every invitation, follow every trend and pursue every available opportunity. Yet constant activity does not necessarily create a clear direction.

Elena prefers to be intentional.

For her, choosing the right project means protecting her creative energy and making room for work that genuinely excites her. It also means accepting that her interests may change over time. What feels right today may not be the direction she wants to explore tomorrow.

The ability to recognise that difference gives her the freedom to grow without feeling tied to an outdated version of herself.

Private Life, Public Ambition

Being visible professionally does not mean Elena wants every aspect of her life to become public.

She values the support of her audience but has deliberately established boundaries around her personal relationships, including her romantic life. That separation allows her to pursue professional opportunities while preserving a private space that remains her own.

It is a considered approach to life in an era when social media can encourage people to share more than they originally intended. Public interest can easily blur the distinction between a person’s professional identity and private experiences.

Elena does not believe that being authentic requires complete transparency. She can share her creative work, ambitions and professional milestones without turning every personal moment into content.

That balance matters because her identity extends beyond the photographs and appearances through which people know her.

She is also someone who values loyalty, humanity and kindness. These qualities influence how she understands beauty and the kind of presence she hopes to create.

For Elena, looking confident is one thing. Feeling comfortable with the person you are when nobody is watching is something else entirely.

Recognition Without Standing Still

Among the milestones Elena particularly values are her features in Harper’s Bazaar US and Vogue Monaco. Being recognised by international publications has provided an important moment of reflection on how far her career has developed since that first casting in 2013.

These appearances represent professional recognition, but they have not changed her underlying motivation. She remains interested in what she can create next rather than simply repeating what has already worked.

That forward-looking attitude is especially important in fashion and beauty, where new ideas constantly reshape the conversation. Staying relevant requires more than visibility. It calls for curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to keep learning.

Elena’s experience across modelling, dance and content creation gives her several ways to explore that process. Each discipline brings different challenges, and each provides an opportunity to develop a new skill or perspective.

Instead of treating recognition as a finish line, she sees it as encouragement to keep moving.

From Model to Businesswoman

Elena’s next ambitions take her beyond the role of model and content creator. She is preparing to launch her own makeup brand, alongside plans for an underwear line focused on confidence, comfort and aesthetics.

The projects represent an opportunity to move from expressing her taste through existing fashion and beauty products to developing ideas that reflect her own perspective.

Building a brand is a different challenge from appearing in a campaign. It requires thinking about the experience a product offers, the identity it communicates and the people it hopes to reach. It also demands a clear understanding of what makes an idea distinctive.

For Elena, the central principle is individuality.

She wants beauty to feel like an opportunity rather than an obligation. Makeup should allow people to experiment with their appearance, while personal style should make room for different preferences and personalities. Her planned underwear line follows a similar direction, bringing together comfort, confidence and visual appeal.

Both ventures reflect interests that have been present throughout her career. The difference is that she is now preparing to shape the final product herself.

It is a natural next step for someone who has always valued creative freedom.

The Next Move

Elena Nazdryukhina’s career has never depended on a single definition of success. She has built experience in modelling, explored the discipline of dance, worked internationally and earned recognition through magazine features. Now, she is preparing to bring her perspective into the beauty and fashion business.

What connects these experiences is not simply appearance or ambition. It is the desire to remain in control of her own direction.

For Elena, success means being recognised while staying true to her identity. It means having the freedom to experiment, the discipline to develop her skills and the confidence to pursue projects that genuinely interest her.

She understands that a career is not built through one perfect photograph or a single defining moment. It develops through choices, new experiences and the willingness to keep moving when a familiar path no longer feels challenging.

Her next chapter may involve products rather than photoshoots, business decisions rather than castings, but the underlying philosophy remains the same.

Know what you want to express. Be selective about what represents you. And never assume that the version of yourself people recognise today has to be the version you remain forever.

For a woman whose career began with an unexpected opportunity in front of a camera, the most interesting part of the story may be what happens next.
